Gold Wheel Sale for gift spins

As I understand it, when 7 Seas has the Gold Wheel Sale promo to buy discounted Gold Sea of Riches spins, the sale price only applies to spins you buy for yourself, not gifts you give to other players, right?  If so, I think it would be a great idea to also apply the sale price to Gold spin gifts bought during the promo period.  I know lots of players who like to gift Gold spins to their friends, and would most probably buy more of them as gifts during the sale, if they got the promo price on them also.  Just a suggestion :-)
